Monday men’s competition

The Ivanhoe Darebin Basketball Association runs a senior domestic basketball competition for men on Monday nights at the Darebin Community Sports Stadium, 857 Plenty Road, Reservoir.

It is open to anyone over the age of 16 and provides an ideal opportunity for some fun and fitness with family members or friends from work or study.

The competition focuses on providing a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for players of all standards and experience.

We service the north east of Melbourne centred around the municipalities of Darebin and Banyule although participation is most welcome from further afield. Many of our teams and players come from suburbs like Collingwood, Carlton, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Fairfield, Alphington, Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Preston, Reservoir, Thomastown, Bundoora, Rosanna and Watsonia.

Ivanhoe Darebin Basketball Association

Team registration is $40 for the season. Player registration is $10 for the season.

Each game day, the team sheet fee is $80 per team.  This applies for both regular rounds and finals.

Basketball Victoria

As of 2020 Basketball Victoria  require each player to hold a current Participation License which is renewed annually at a cost of $39. The license normally last for two seasons. When a player registers for a season their license will be renewed if it is due to expire within the season dates. A license renewal extends the license for an additional 365 days so no value is lost.
